Creativity Galore

Do yourself or your creative team a solid and hire me.
Do you want more creativity in your life?
Are you stuck, flat, over-worked, or blocked?
Are you looking for more meaning and inspiration in life?
Do you want to get the juices going?
My coaching approach is common-sense Buddhism integrated with the artists view.
Specifically, slowing down, becoming more authentically ourselves, and looking at the ways that the creative juices are not flowing as much as they could be.
One of my main beliefs in life is that when we are creative, we are happy.
I believe we are naturally creative, and it is the unattended stuff from the past that wants our attention and therefore blocks our creative flow.
When we attend to our work with gentleness, wakefulness and fearlessness, creative channels are opened (or reopened) in ways we never imagined.
Another one of my beliefs is that an unhealed past is what is driving the entire experience of your life. So therefore, the more at peace you are with the past, the more available you are to the full spectrum of your creative ideas, endeavors, and gifts.
Creativity, in my opinion, is what makes life worth living. It takes life from the drudgery of survival to the elegance of self-expression.
I have logged many hours and years doing my own personal therapeutic work, as well as training at The Fearless Institute as a Life Coach where I was certified over 10 years ago.
I have been a student of Buddhism in the Shambhala tradition for 20 years.
I have an MFA in writing and a BFA in photography.
I am available for individual and corporate coaching.

Here’s what some of my past clients have said about working with me:
“Your passion is infectious. When I work with you I want to push my limits, and release my creative energy. I appreciate your honesty, compassion, and take no prisoners attitude. I feel safe sharing my MOST vulnerable self when I am working with you. You have this way of knocking my walls down. I enjoy the interaction via phone conference. The most valuable part was hearing your actual voice. You have a realness that comes across over the phone. I never expected that from anyone. I never thought I could be guided by someone that I wasn’t physically present with, but the guidance you gave via email or by phone was more powerful an impact than my weekly sessions with my therapist.”
- Jennifer Granjay
“We can share a dirty joke and be light hearted about difficult emotions! The way you slowed me down, to get me to really notice what I was saying or feeling or to think through something that had happened, rather than rushing on. The slowing down and noticing was/is important. You were holding my hand as I was processing new ideas about myself and what was possible, and integrating other teachings I was reading/hearing elsewhere. I needed one-on-one contact to help ground the changes that were happening for me. Also, I really appreciated the Buddhist perspective and teachings you brought, it aligned / complimented / grounded my very, very fledgling interest and understanding of the Buddhist thinking.
- Rebecca Leigh
“You have a unique combination of kindness and patience plus relentlessness and ruthlessness. In other words, you can sportively tell someone that she is full of shit, either in her work or her head. But then you say, but I know you’re not really full of shit, so give me something real. I am more likely to take risks in my writing because of our conversations.”
- Angela Kelsey
“Your depth and integrity and temperament lends itself to high quality work. Your patience, your insight, your sensitivity, your capacity to sit with pain, your humor, your good nature is of great help. I knew that you were and would be good company. That is why I reached out to you.”
- Matthew Stillman
“I enjoyed the refracted reflection you gave me. You show me me, but with a peculiar lens. Your way of seeing [me], I find helpful. It’s a gift and it’s unique from other coaching out there.”
- Melea Seward
“YOU! How you see Life. How you feel about it. YOUR Life philosophy. Be real. Be with it… IT… not a program… but the material of Life that is UP RIGHT NOW!
YOUR belief in me! more… your seeeeeeeeeeeeing me. Naming it, without inflation, ego stroking. Clear grounded sight. No bs!”
Your invitation to the deep… the dark. You woo it out KNOWING the powerful alchemy of that energy in the creation of the NOW. The Wound is the Gift. And your work in particular is alllll about that. People talk about it… “Your niche/your gift is your wound.” but its not a cerebral exercise. It is an alchemical living encounter experience of its energy being in the mix NOW with you… which is what you powerfully provided the container for in those sessions.”
