Driving home to Brooklyn, the sky did it’s thing that it can only do as winter approaches. No matter who is watching, nature is always making its beautiful thing, just because that’s what it does. She doesn’t give a thought to whether or not she has an audience.
I happened to see this while riding in a car, which lasted only about 7 minutes and then the sky turned gray again. Happily, I had my iPhone at the ready.
This late autumn light makes me think poignantly about life and how quickly it will be over. And about the glorious possibility we have to really make something beautiful while we are here. Blurry, in focus, doesn’t matter…just to express those things inside of us that want to live.

Oh, lovely. Thank you for taking the time to capture beauty to share, and for the reflection on purpose.
my heart aches to go back to NYC… *aches*
these make my mouth water
Bindu, is there any end to your talents? These are exquisite. I’m sure you’ll want to give Nature Herself all the credit, but there’s so much beauty in the way you behold Her, and contemplate her brief glories.
you don't have to love NYC to love this…RT @binduwiles: Late November Sky Part 2. The Awakened Life Bindu Wiles http://bit.ly/hQaI7f
Beautiful photos, they look like paintings. I love the borders. I’m usually too obsessed with details, but I’m learning to slow down, simplify, let go of the details. These are such a beautiful reminder that I don’t need to figure out every detail of life, I just need to trust the Universe and enjoy the beautiful perfection that results.
Absolutely stunning. And I simply can’t wait til Verizon starts covering the iPhone so I can get one, simply for this app!
Totally gorgeous shots of the Brooklyn skyline by @binduwiles http://ht.ly/3gUmS <– So excited for my trip to NYC in just over a week!
Gorgeous. Esp. #1. I could write a story about that one.
And is life truly over — or is this eternal life?
Hope you’re well.
Beautiful…pure and simple. I love looking at skies….
