Here are some highlights for those of you that couldn’t make it:
Leo Babuta: I fell in love with his gentleness and for-REAL simplicity.
He talked about failing over and over and over again in his life.
He told us that making money has to feel good to him and be in line with his values.
He never carried anything with him except a small bottle of water.
He personified freedom to me.
He keeps letting go of more and more and yet he is able to make a very good living.
Mark Silver: The guy is pure luminosity.
He talked about the power of the heart and making friends with our neediness.
He reminded us there is always time to stop and connect in, that we don’t have to rush. Ever.
We bowed our heads into our hearts as a group.
Pam Slim: Warm, present, soft soul who gives incredible hugs.
She talked about remembering your roots.
She mapped out a content map for our blogs based on our ideal client avatars and 4 or 5 things those clients want/ need and then writing content from there.
Danielle Laporte: Well, you all know how I feel about her.
She said in regard to helping others: “Everyone in this room is a power broker. What can you do to be someones yes?”
Chris Guillebeau: highly groomed individual, grace under pressure, unafraid to step up to the plate in the big leagues (well he probably is afraid but it doesn’t stop him from taking action), loved by all, generous generous generous. And then more generous.
John Unger: Quirky, massively talented sculptor and poet.
He is truly doing his own thing and making money.
Jen Lemen and Andrea Scher: They have each actualized their dreams.
They left a blessing under each chair as a surprise to us at the end of their talk.
They hand wrote over 500 blessings.
Those are just some highlights.
Tomorrow, the weekend in pictures here on the blog.
